3 Month Calendar & Rental Information
We are please to announce the JET bus now transports seniors 60+ and disabled citizens to both medical and non-medical appointments. Beginning March 8th this service will also include local shopping trips. the JET will initially be available for shopping on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. This service is free of charge, but donations are always welcome.

December 17th Holiday Trip will include the Empire Brass event. Please come and see the granddaughter of legendary Maria and Baron von Trapp, whose music inspired The Sound of Music, perform with North America's finest brass quintet. Music ranging from Bach and Handel to jazz and Broadway and featuring classic carols. With a voice critics have called "hauntingly clear" (New York Times), Elizabeth along with the Empire Brass, "will send a thrill of pleasure through your nervous system" (Boston Globe).

STRENGTH AND BALANCE TRAINING This program is open to seniors age 60 and over and is conducted by an instructor trained to modify age appropriate exercises to accommodate seniors of all ability levels. Strength and balance training exercises are done in a sitting or standing position whichever is more compatible with individual levels of ability. Classes run for one hour from 10am to 11am. The benefits of strength training are: stronger bones & muscles, improves balance and reduces risk of falls, improves cardiovascular health and increases energy levels. PEACE LUNCHEONS The Jordan Elbridge Community Center serves as a Senior Nutrition Site for PEACE INC> SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAM and offers lunches each Friday and third Tuesday of every month beginning at 12:00 noon. These luncheons are open to everyone 60 years of age or older with spouses or guests under 60 welcome. Come join us for a delicious, wholesome and affordable meal mostly made from scratch, and all at a suggested contribution of $2.50. For reservations please call Alice Hathaway at 689-3050.

COMMUNITY MEETING USE
The Community Center is available to J-E Non-profit Organizations for
Weekly or Monthly Meetings at No Fee
as long as the group provides a certificate of insurance. Each group is
required to clean up after their meetings.
RENTAL
The Community Center is available to Town of Elbridge residents for baby
showers, birthday parties, wedding
showers, family gatherings, etc. at a cost of $75 for the Lion's Den (50 people) or $125 for the Community
Room (99 people). All groups may use the kitchen which has oven, stovetop, double oven, microwave, refrigerator
