Change of Address
If you need to change your current mailing address on a parcel you own, please mail or fax us a letter showing the property[ies] address[es] and/or tax map number[s] with your signature requesting us to update your mailing address to the following, etc.  If this is a Business owned property, please do this on your Company’s letterhead with an authorizing signature.  Thank you for your understanding.

We are now utilizing different aids for assessing purposes

Recently some residents have been receiving either a Residential Sale Verification Form or an Economic Information Request Form.  We use these types of forms to help us with evaluating assessments.  We would like to thank you for your assistance and cooperation in filling these forms out should you receive one.

Residential Sale Verification

During a purchase time of a parcel there are different factors that may be involved regarding
the sale price that we are not aware of, or there could have been changes in the inventory than what we show, or problems with the property itself that we are unaware of.  Different aspects
of this information could affect how your property is assessed.  We ask that you fill out the form with the information that you have as it could have an affect on your properties assessment.

Commercial/Industrial Economic Information

We are requesting property owners whose parcels we have coded as commercial or industrial to complete this form, which will be sent on an annual basis.  This questionnaire is with regards to the income and expenses of the building(s), not the business income.  Markets change yearly whether it goes up or down.  The information we have requested is known as the Income Approach, an accepted appraisal approach for these types of properties.  If you were to attend
a grievance hearing this information would be required prior to that date.
